Redfield Community Hospital Avera is accepting applications for an individual to be responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests and employees. Requirements: Food Service knowledge helpful; ServSafe certificate preferred but not necessary.
Hours of shift: 6:30 AM - 5:45 PM; or 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM
Will assist in the dishwashing processes following meals. Must be able to follow food production, sanitation and safety guidelines meeting the requirements of regulating agencies.
Essential job functions include but are not limited to: Ability to arrive to work promptly and complete the job as assigned, plan work schedule based on the menu of the day, ability to follow food production, sanitation and safety guidelines, and manage the production of a meal so that the meal is flavorful, attractive and therapeutically correct and served in a timely manner. Must be able to communicate with other departments in implementing the nutritional care of patients.
