- Starting pay: $23.79 per hour.
- Scheduled raises at 6 months, 1 year, and 18 months.

Responsibilities
The 911 Dispatcher is responsible for receiving and processing emergency and non-emergency calls, gathering essential information, and dispatching the appropriate emergency services, including law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make rapid, effective decisions in high-stress situations.
- Strong multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with computers, dispatch software, and other related technologies.
- Capacity to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, hearing test, dispatch certification, and Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Prior experience in emergency dispatch, law enforcement, fire, EMS, or a related field.
- Current dispatch certification, Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), and CPR certification.
